Kissable dental Products
About Us
As seasoned dog owners we were surprised to learn of the intimate relationship between our dog's oral hygiene and their overall health. We read study after study that highlighted the connection between the two and decided that we had to offer all natural products that would target this area specifically. We launched the Kissable doggie dental products line in 2006 and have been delighted with the response. As more and more owners learn of the importance of oral hygiene and look for all natural alternatives our line has grown by leaps and bounds.

Poor oral hygiene can lead to many serious health problems such as:
Gum Disease According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs suffer from periodontal disease by the age of two. Periodontal disease is caused by live, bad bacteria known as plaque. This bacteria destroys the gums and the bone structure that supports the teeth and can lead to tooth loss and multiple infections. Infections can start in the mouth due to bad oral hygiene. These infections not only cause bad breath, but they can also spread to other areas of the body causing respiratory problems, lung and brain infections, and many other health problems. Heart Disease can be exacerbated due to plaque and tartar build-up. Eventually the build-up will break off and can be absorbed into the blood stream, increasing inflammation in the arteries and leading to an increased risk of a heart attack or stroke.
